TROOP 23 ONLINE.......Camp Cooking |

Cooking and Eating......
For most of us it's one of the best things about camping.
The better you cook... the better you eat... the more fun you have!
Here you will find out how to be a better cook in camp. Look at the
section on foil cooking. Learn how to use a Dutch oven. You can even find recipes
for your patrol to try on the next campout.
Advancement Through Cooking
Cooking Offers opportunities for advancement to every Scout

you should know it).

Second Class -
- Use the tools listed in requirement 2c to prepare tinder, kindling, and fuel for a
cooking fire.

products, eggs, vegetables, and other perishable food products. Tell how to properly
dispose of camp garbage, cans, plastic containers, and other rubbish.

stove or building a cooking fire. Prepare the breakfast, lunch, and dinner planned in
requirement
- Lead your patrol in saying grace at the meals and supervise cleanup.
Star - Life - Eagle -
- Be active in your troop and patrol. By helping less experienced scouts and participating
